Wealth guidance with warmth.
We celebrate, laugh and cry with our clients.
Hey! I'm Nicola Beswick.
Ex-lawyer, headstrong financial adviser, and a human dedicated to making a difference.
Like a lot of people, I had a pivotal moment that changed the course of my life. My Dad was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis (MS) at the age of 55. While dealing with the devastating diagnosis and an uncertain future, Dad discovered he was eligible to receive an income protection pay out.
This was the stone that rippled his pond and mine. A new complex world of finance opened up and I discovered my calling—helping people plan for a financially secure future.
"Financial planning, for me, is about service—getting to know the people you’re helping and guiding them through a world they often don’t understand, especially when life takes an unexpected turn."
One of the best things we can do in life is serve others. My experience with my Dad inspired me to look at the bigger picture and find other ways to assist the over 25,600 Australians living with MS through fundraising and advocacy.
In the last few years I’ve walked The Great Wall of China and cycled 50km across Melbourne to raise money for people affected by MS. I’ve also provided pro bono financial advice to people going through a tough time as an adviser, board director and now Chair, of the Pro Bono Financial Advice Network (PFAN).
This work is a privilege and has given me a humbling sense of perspective.
My career path has been far from linear but I know I'm exactly where I am meant to be – helping overwhelmed people create a brighter future through financial education, advice and mentorship.
I love getting my hands on a microphone to spread the word about pro bono advice and the life-changing value of financial advice.

Ron Beswick: My Dad and the inspiration behind White Rabbit Advisory
My dad, Ron, has always been my rock and cheerleader. When he was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis (MS) in 2007, it was a huge blow. But instead of letting the diagnosis define him, he chose to rise above it. He once told me, “While I have MS, MS does not have me.” It became his mantra, a reminder that no matter how tough things got, he could always find a way forward.
When Dad was diagnosed with MS, he’d been in the workforce for 40 years. Work had become more of a chore than a challenge, but the decision to retire wasn’t easy. He was aware of the three biggest fears people face when stepping away from work: being bored, broke, or broken. And he was staring down at least two of them.
But Dad’s not one to sit still for long. He found a new purpose with Sailability, a program that helps people with disabilities experience the freedom of sailing. It reignited his energy and showed me that no matter what life throws at you, there’s always a way to adapt.
That mindset drives everything we do at White Rabbit, helping people face their own turning points with the same resilience.
Why the white rabbit is at the heart of our brand.
I was out walking with a friend, talking about whether I should take the leap and start my own financial advice business.
We were deep in conversation when this sign with a white rabbit on it caught my eye. It stopped me mid-sentence. I had this instant feeling that it meant something.
Curious, we pulled out our phones and with one quick Google search later... it turns out, in many cultures, white rabbits symbolise big life changes and new beginnings. I just stood there, thinking, “This is exactly where I am—and where my clients are when they need me most.'"
That was the nudge I needed to commit, and that’s how White Rabbit Advisory was born.
Facing the Unknown:
White rabbits are often seen as guides when we find ourselves at a crossroads, unsure of the path ahead. They symbolise the courage to step into the unknown, trusting that we will come out the other side stronger.
Guidance Through Life’s Path:
A white rabbit often appears as a guide when life presents us with unexpected detours. It represents the idea that, no matter how challenging the road ahead, we have the strength and clarity to move forward and find our way.
Curiosity and New Chapters:
The white rabbit encourages curiosity and playfulness, reminding us to embrace life’s twists and turns. Whether you’re entering a new phase or navigating a major life change, the white rabbit shows us that there’s always more to explore.
Releasing Fear:
White rabbits symbolise the release of fear. They remind us to trust our intuition, even in the face of uncertainty. By following the rabbit’s lead, we can find our way through the challenges we face.
Turning Points:
Encountering a white rabbit is often linked to turning points in life—moments of change that can feel overwhelming. The white rabbit is there to help us move forward, reassuring us that positive changes are ahead.
